How could I forget to post on my blog about this!! I posted it to Facebook right after it happened, and a UFO site tonight when I was looking up if anybody else had seen it, but I forgot all about this place here.
Anyway... here's the deal... my girlfriend was away visiting her mom for mothers day and I was home all by my lonesome this past weekend. The date: May 8, 2010. She called me about 10:45p while I was watching tv. I was getting ready for Betty White at 11:30p (totally funny by the way!). If anybody knows me, I can't talk on the phone and do something else at the same time, I get too distracted. Anyway, I hate silence, so instead of turning off the tv, I stepped outside onto the balcony and sat on a cooler staring at the sky. There were thick clouds on the left and on the right, with a big gap in the middle. I told my gf about it because earlier when I was out, it was clear. Anyway, so I'm talking to my gf while staring at the gap in the clouds that haven't moved the entire 15 minutes I was chatting with her.. mind you, this was an ENORMOUS gap.
Near the end of our conversation I see something float by.. it LOOKED like it was black and white, and possibly "S" shaped, but as it floated by, from one cloud to the other at a steady pace, it sort of looked like a person in an astronaut outfit, with the black front faced helmet flying by on a jetpack. It's really hard to explain, but as it floated further away and towards the other cloud, that's what it started to look like.
The only illumination was from the moonlight, which was pretty bright that night. Whatever it was that was flying by was quiet, did not look like a machine, and was traveling at a steady pace and a straight line until it floated into the cloud on the other side. Within 30 seconds of the object flying by, the cloud on the left closed the gap that had been open for 15 minutes.
At first it seemed like it was floating like paper, but it was too steady, and it was REALLY BIG for as far as it was. A lot of planes fly by there flying to and from the SJ airport, and by the time they are at the height this object was at, you can BARELY see their lights flickering. I have never seen paper, or ribbon, or anything from the ground fly that high. It definitely wasn't a bird, or a balloon. So what was it?
I'm totally open to thinking it could have been a top secret government craft or a UFO. It was just really weird, and I really freaked out. I hung up with my gf after it disappeared and closed all the windows in the house and locked the doors!! I have always been afraid of aliens and UFO's since I was 6 years old. I still am!! DO YOU KNOW WHAT ALIENS DO TO PEOPLE??? None of it is pleasant!!! and from my understanding, these abductees are tagged for life!! They're visited more by the aliens than by their family members living in another state!!!
Everybody thinks I'm crazy, but I know what I saw. I thought to share it on this blog in case anybody else may have seen something similar that night. I know I couldn't have been the only one. The only reason I can think of as to why I haven't seen anything else online regarding this (I did see a report around 12a that night in the area, but they said it was neon purple, and mine was black and white, or it looked black and white anyway). If my sighting was the only one, it was probably because of the clouds. I can't believe how quick the clouds gathered after it floated by... 15 minutes and NO MOVEMENT.. then within 30 seconds.. WHOOP! All clouds! Weird!!!
One more thing, I was going to take a picture, but I don't have a professional camara... my digital camara can't even take a good picture of something across the street at night. It would be too dark and the flash would only bounce off the tree in front of my balcony that would have made the object and sky completely black, and the leaves super green lol
Ah well...... oh and if somebody would like to know the specific area of SJ where this happened, it was Saratoga and Kiely, or if you'd like a MAJOR cross street, Saratoga and Steven's Creek by the automall.
